Elisabeth artist

Art is no small thing. If it ever seems that way, it’s because we live in a time when so many things that matter most have been made to seem trivial, or secondary. The materialism of our era uses matter but doesn’t engage with matter as sacred. Art offers this level of relationship. It’s a part of our ancient connection to matter, to land. Humans looking around us, honouring the materials that earth offers, being curious, bringing in the alchemical fire of our vision, our imagination and creating something new. One of my particular loves is up-cycling with textiles. Gathering garments from second-hand shops, textiles that were probably made in a mass produced way with little reverence, and bringing them back into the circle of delight and recognition.' You are sacred land.'

Wearable Art

Each piece is made with deep love for the materials, for the craft, and with a deep intention of well being for whoever will wear the garment. 'May you always be safe in the arms of Earth.' These pieces are available for purchase - contact the artist directly to arrange for payment and delivery, or to ask any questions.
